Corrosion on the underside of car

Guys, Can someone tell me what i can do about rust and corrosion. on the underside of the car there is a bit of rust which as advised my mechanic that it should be looked after otherwise it will get worse,


does anyone have experience of this ? Is there anything i can do or do i have to take to a garage for them to clean up and spray up anti corrosion paint ?

Waxoyl is a cheap DIY method, can be painted or sprayed on. Think some garages offer the service also, pressure wash and then spray it on for taxis etc.

yeh sand down the rust or use something like kurust and then waxoil the car.
