Custom made exhaust places around Herts/Bucks/Middlesex

The Y pipe had already been patched up before on my Tourer but yesterday I noticed a fairly large hole developing around the second backbox :( I don't have to cash to replace it ATM so going to get some gun gum and patch it up as best I can.

Hopefully by the end of summer I will be looking at replacing it with a custom one from the cat back. I've read the threads on here about the places people have used but they are miles away. I've only had one quote so far of around £800 but they need to see the car first and it will take them a few days but they haven't done one for this car before. I'm not paying that much, I'm looking for under £400, might be able to stretch to £500.

So I'm hoping to go somewhere who has done them for the 2.4 Tourer. I don't mind travelling to Essex or Surrey as well if the price is right.
 
Powerflow can definitely make for 500£ max.Give them call.
 
Powerflow seem to be abit hit and miss depending on who you go with, my local one quoted £800 with mandrel bends and tig welding.

They got recommended to me by someone when I had my last car, which I remembered about and emailed for a quote, which is roughly £600.

I need to weigh up how long a standard exhaust will last compared to how long I keep the car though.
 
You tourer boys do like your stainless systems, think its quite popular on the tourer
 
Because it looks maaaaad and sounds maaaaaad! One of these days, I'll get a good quality audio recording of inside the car so you can hear/feel the roar. But I must stress that round town cruising is still civilised ;) .

I will also consider anywhere that is close to the M1 as far as Northampton. But they need to be able to do it in a day, a few places have told me they need the car for 2 days.
 
Scrub that - just been given an awesome price for a standard system from HH :)

Yep, going to order it later. I only bought the car 4 months ago, so with tyres, everything I've spent on servicing, insurance and tax due next month it's the wrong time to be thinking of custom exhausts :( I was expecting the standard one to be at the cheaper end of a custom exhaust but it seems not, it's 2/3 cheaper!
