Driver's auto electric window fail

Greetings everyone,

New to the Forum and recently bought a 1999 2.0 VTEC.

One minor niggle is that the driver's electric window does not operate in the "AUTO" mode. It goes up and down fine, but it won't go all the way up/down when the switch is fully pressed.

Can anyone help with a possible solution?

Open and hold the button down to rreset the auto feature

Wow, that was remarkably easy! What kicks it out of the Auto mode anyway? Having something stuck in the window as it goes up..?

Having the battery disconnected. Probably just hasn't been reset since the last time it lost charge or had the battery replaced.
