As per the topic ***le - I have a 2004 2.2 CDTI saloon.

As I was driving home from work, I suddenly had the ABS, VSA, Exclamation triangle and the red (( ! )) come on the dash without warning. They are constant and don't disappear at all whilst driving - the car drives perfectly still, no issues at all, which made me think its a sensor.

I used my OBDII reader, thinking it would offer some insight - 0 codes found.

I then did the paperclip trick and got a read out of the codes with the flashing ABS light.

These codes point towards the wheel speed sensor - is there any way of narrowing down to which one?

Kind regards,

Mark

Unfortunately the ABS systems on the accords required the HDS (honda diagnostics system) to fully read the fault.
Once the HDS is connected it will state exactly what sensor is at fault.

Only honda dealers or specialist garages will have the kit

^^^ this.. and i have one but i'm not in Surrey any time soon.

12 is faulty right-front sensor
14 is faulty left-front sensor
16 is faulty right-rear sensor
18 is faulty left-rear sensor

15 indicates faulty wiring to right-rear sensor

61 indicates fault in the ABS itself

Best to get it checked with an HDS
