Hi all.

I've just had a little work done on my car at the local Honda dealer and they did a general check at the time. The report says the exhaust "front section" is blowing. Has anyone done this exact job? I'm just trying to work out the exact piece they are referring to. I have looked at the diagrams on Lings and I presume they mean the flexi part that takes the exhaust from the down pipe, and bends it so that it runs along the bottom of the car. I will confirm with them, but if this is the case, are the 'top' bolts easily accessible, making it a quite straight forward job?

I'm just going to look on YouTube, but thanks in advance for any help.

Easy to remove the top bolts connecting the flexi to the manifold but the bolts at the other end of the flexi connecting it to the cat might be badly corroded and need an angle grinder to get off.

Great, thanks for the advice. Sounds like a straight forward job even I can manage!

An air powered rattle gun / impact driver is the best tool for exhaust nuts. Mine took a bit of time but all came off clean.

24 hr soak in penetrating oil also helps.
