I no this has been covered 100s of times on the 7th gen but is it as important on the 8th gen as the fuel filter is paper/cardboard and the cost of aftermarket is half the price I use aftermarket air/pollen filters again more than half the price Honda charge.
I have always used genuine on the 7th gen.

I think you'll probably get away with it on the 8th gen mate but just stick to frequent changes

When should you change it where is it located in 8th gen 2.0 ??
