Couldn't find an existing thread indicating where the boot light fuse is located?

I've read that the boot light fuse is also shared with interior lights but all my lights work minus the boot light.

Any tips or tricks? Going on a long car camping trip through Switzerland and having a working boot light is quite useful when you're in the middle of nowhere and its pitch dark.

TIA

Bulb okay?

According to the WSM, 2006 CL9 Trunk light fuse location is No. 6 under dash (7.5A) which is a sub to No. 15 under hood (40A). Fuse 6 controls all the interior lighting, which you already confirmed is working. The main suspect here, apart from the bulb or bulb holder, is the trunk latch switch. This is connected via a single blue/black wire that is grounded by the latch switch to pass current through the bulb.

Perhaps a rusty bolt in the boot area.

Is there a possibility somebody fitted a towbar ?
