Gen 7 exhaust manifold

Hi,
have the dreaded cracked exhaust manifold on 2.2i-CTDI 2007
There is a mod kit from Honda around £300 plus or there are after market manifolds with gaskets from around £70 upwards on ebay,
Has anyone bought 1 off ebay? last thing i want to do when the car is in bits and go oops, should have paid a bit more and gone to Honda.

I had mine welded ...initial improvement but then got worse over time (put it down to numerous heat cycles cracking the repair weld).
Replaced it with a cheap eBay aftermarket as I was out of warranty ...it did improve, but I still felt it didn't provide 100% clean air to the cabin.

Give Honda a call. I had mine done about two years ago for free. Worth a shot.
