Handbrake adjustment

Do you know how much thread is on the adjuster cable below central arm rest

I can tighten so far, but gets to a point where can’t get it to go further, it may be that I can’t get enough of movement with spanner

at this point about 10mm thread exposed

Maybe there is a stuck brake shoes separatos who is attached to the cables.
