Hi all,

I have an 8th gen (UK) petrol, 2L, automatic Accord. I've had it for 4 years, the vehicle is a 09 plate so it's a little over 10 years old (I bought it 2nd hand when it was 6). Only done 44k miles, oil change every year since birth. Runs like a dream, I love it!

I happened to notice in the warm weather, while driving with the windows down, there is a fairly high pitched whirr/wheeze that is tied to RPM.

I couldn't upload to the forums (too large) - audio example here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Rvv4EJfg63VAGGDID5U8tVSLBDUTYRtV

That is in neutral on the driveway, so I don't believe it's transmission related.

Anyway, thank you for the time and any advice will be appreciated!

Either that or just a worn auxiliary belt

Thanks for the input, it's due for MOT fairly soon so I'll have them take a look at the same time
