Well, I had the dreaded battery drain (about 300mA) which killed the battery over a few days and followed the advice in this forum. Problem solved, but then had no hands free kit.
In another thread I found mention of changing a capacitor in the module - 39770-SEA-ED10-M1 - to cure the problem.
So I bought a few parts and changed several, with no effect. I have not tried 'cooking' the circuit board/s yet.
However, I have now sourced a replacement off my favourite source of used parts (fleabay) but it is a REV. 5, whilst the unit which failed is a REV 4.
It seems to behave and I have yet to program it for my 'phone, but can anyone tell me the diffference between the two revisions of the unit ? They have identical part numbers and same S/w rev (presumably software).
