Indicators - Lane Changing/3 flash

My wife's 2007 CRV has a 3 flash/lane changing option on the indicators - gentle push and you'll get 3 flashes.

My 2004 Accord does not...

Question - Would simply retrofitting a CRV (or later accord?) indicator stalk add this functionality to my car, or would this need additional wiring/controls separate to the stalk?

(if no one knows, I'll perhaps just borrow from her car and try it out...)

Not sure with Hondas, but from my experience with other cars, you can retro fit things but you will then need a honda computer to enable the part. Whether the Accord has this as an option to add on is a separate matter....

Hopefully someone more clued in will respond soon!
