Hi guys - Accord Coupe 2.0 (F20B5)

Car will start first turn of the key but it has a lumpy idle which doesnt improve much once warm and if you rev it then it tries to cut out instead of idling. Need to keep few revs up and bring it down slowly to keep it running. Done a compression test and all seems ok,

I've changed all the ignition parts (except coil) - new dizzy cap and rotor (Blueprint), set of leads and NGK plugs. The old NGK plugs that came out were made in France!!! but the new ones say made in Japan! :D (so much more confidence in them). Doubt its the coil and dont want to go to that expense if its not that. I thought a renew of all these components would help but havent. Seems to be no. 3 or 4 cylinder not as much difference when you pull the ht lead off but not sure what else to check.

Starting to lose faith which is a shame as Ive spent a lot of time renewing parts, undersealing, new brakes, service etc.. to get it ready for the road!

Any ideas would be welcome or anyone fairly local willing to give a bit of help or advise would be great. Thanks

Lot's of things left to try, clean the butterfly valve, IAVC, clean egr valves, ports etc. They clog up and can cause idling issues.

Have you tried coating important pipe ends or visible gaskets with spray grease, just to seal them temporarily ?
