Well I've fitted several inline filtration to automatic transmissions and its been 6 months since I fitted one to one of my own vehicles, so its time to open it up and have look at it  Please consider the transmission has had a three part fluid changes prior to the filter being installed and since no ill effects have been experienced in that time, smooth gear changes throughout the range even from stone cold...

As you can see it's clearly doing the job :D don't think new fluid will be required nearly as often, just change the filter every 12k or 12 months ;)

Nice mod there Stu can this be added to manual transmission and would there be any benefits.

Inline filter(s) are fitted to some Auto' 7th Gen's and all 8th Gen Auto's, doubt there would be any benefit on a manual though, although a cooler is a good addition to a manual ;)
