When I bought the car it came with no driver's carpet. I missed out on a brand new set for £30 on eBay because I want sure if the part number matched.

Anyway, I'm looking for an ivory white driver's carpet new or used of anyone can point me to the right direction.

Thanks!

Ok, I found one but it's part number does not have an A at the end as per this list: https://hondakarma.com/guides/2004-accord-4-door-genuine-honda-accessories-list.213/

08P15-SEA-520 Elegance Floor Carpets Premium quality, Ivory for Automatic Transmission - Accord Logo 0.2
08P15-SEA-520A Elegance Floor Carpets Premium quality Ivory for Manual Transmission - Accord Logo 0.2

Can I use the automatic carpet in my manual car? I can't find comparison pics anywhere.

Thanks.

If you'd wanted a part number you should have said ;)

Start here --> http://www.lingshondaparts.com/cars/oem-car-parts-diagrams.html

If you want to do it by VIN number, see this --> http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/23517-honda-vin-numbers/

I ***umed that your VIN is something like JHMCN15504C201111

By using that VIN, and also by searching by model, found the following for your car

The difference in the part numbers for carpets will be due to colour and whether car is auto or not.

Going by that link you have found, and by the 4 links above, I'm surprised that there is an auto choice, because the 2004 i-CTDi only came as 5-speed manual.

So the auto will be for the petrol car, but it won't make any difference by engine because the car body is the same.

To answer your question, I would ***ume that a carpet from an auto will fit but you may have to cut some away for the clutch pedal.

Thanks for the effort and trust me, I did all that! Obviously with such an old car (and not willing to pay big bucks) I'm not going to find the exact part I'm looking for.

I got the following part numbers (same as your four links but I think one is duplicated above):
08P15SEA511
08P15SEA511A
08P15SEA521A

When I found the right colour at a good deal I looked up its part number 08P15-SEA-520 on https://hondakarma.com/guides/2004-accord-4-door-genuine-honda-accessories-list.213/ I was happy to see that it matched. Any ideas why the lings part numbers are not on there? Is one site wrong?

Anyway, I'm obliged to pay for it now because my offer was accepted and I'll let you know when it arrives.

What I am confused about is why you think I may have to cut part of it for the clutch when the clutch pedal hangs from above, not protruding from the ground

The lings part numbers begin with PFKL which I think only applies to them, because the first time I found their website was before any Accord forums existed in the uk, and I went to a dealer with the PFKL part number and was told "that's not a Honda part number, what are you after". It wasn't until I joined TA that I discovered that you have to remove "_pfk" from the url which then transforms the part numbers to Honda numbers.

Honda part numbers are weird , see this --> http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/19788-cl7cl8cl9cm1cm2cm3cn1cn2cu1cu2cu3cw1cw2cw3-etc/?p=241799

If the carpets you get do fit exactly, it means that Honda part numbers are weirder than weird LOL

This is weird. Your typeAccord post says diesels use the code SEF while SEA is reserved for the petrol but your lings links and my hondakarma links both say diesels use the code SEA.

That's the weirdness of the Honda part numbering system.

Where a part is generic regardless of engine (carpets are a good example), I have noticed that they usually (but not always) resort to using SEA. On occasions I've even seen no "***" in the part number (pun intended).

You'd have thought that they'd use one of something like SEB or SEE or SEH to mean 'generic'.

I can see why there's a differentiation between the carpet for Auto and Manual, it looks like the footrest on the Auto is wider. My car (Manual) came with the carpets and they fit right up to the footrest at the top left. So the other way round (Manual carpet in Auto) would require some cutting.

Looks fine like that though ;)

(mine are black, with white main carpets and white leather seats)

Is lings the best place use for my 2012 accord? It only goes upto 2010 when searching by model, and entering plate in, it doesn't recognise the plate or vin
