P1237 code

My 2.2 suddenly went into limp home this morning while accelerating on a dual carriageway. Stopped and luckily had OBD adapter with me so read P1237 and then reset it and been fine rest of the day.

A google search says low boost pressure so will have a look around but are there any pipes that normally go first or could it be any? Will check for broken clips as well. Turbo was overhauled not too long ago so hopefully not that.

Check the actuator solenoid hasn’t broken and also check the actuator rod has full free range of movement. Could be sticking..

yeah seen something about that elsewhere so will do a check. Should it actuate on Ignition?

No don’t try and move the actuator with the ignition on or engine running. Could even be a rusty pivot on the actuator rod just give it all a good clean and some lubrication and see how you get on
