Power seats don't keep memory anymore

Does anyone know what can cause the power seats to loose its memory?
This has worked well all the many years I've owned my Accord, but for some reason not anymore.
I program the seats by;

1 set the seat to its right positions

2 push the set button and then hold in one of the number buttons until I hear two beeps

The little green light in the number button is then there, and if I turn the ignition OFF and back ON its still there, but next time I use the car its all gone...
I haven't changed the battery lately and is using the same key fob, any ideas?

Does it clear straight away or after leaving the car for a while?

I know in my car the power seat memory is lost when the battery is disconnected, so it could be a weak/failing battery?

It’s a bit unpredictable, you may get lucky sometimes that seat setting sticks, but most times its gone….

As you say its normal that it goes away after having the battery disconnected

Battery has been replaced a just a few years ago, but know from own experience that they can get bad fast these days, however I have seen no signs of a weak battery, had it standing a few weeks during the vacation but still peppy when you cranked it
