I recently got the clutch changed in my Accord and noticed when it was returned that the steering wheel was no longer straight. No problem - I was aware that it would need a realignment. Now the alignment has been checked and is 100% correct as per my favourite hunter machine, but I still have a drag to the left.

Looking at it some more it appears that there is a difference in the drop between the left and right side of the car. I have 17" Pentas and the gap between the top of the wheel is 6cm on the driver side and 8.5cm on the passenger side - so about an inch. I am wondering if something wasn't put back together right. Could anyone check their drop on a 2.4 and report back? Does this sound right to you?

They should be the same all round so you might have a spring problem or damper.

Yeah - the rear is the has the same gap both sides but the front has an inch difference. If I could find out what the "norm" is I could check that side first
