Hi all,

Currently looking to replace clutch slave cylinder on 2010 Accord Mk8 part number 46930-TL0-G02. Can find genuine for 200+, and can only find aftermarket ones that are listed for Type S engine only. Are the slave cylinders different on standard 150 hp and type s 180hp? Also found a accord ctdi/crv one listed online and it looks identical to the one fitted in my car so does anyone know if the CRV one will fit on the accord - part number adh23612c.

So just for anyone else that may be following as i know its a common issue. I've gone ahead and ordered an ABE F94006ABE Clutch Master Cylinder - EUR 44, as I've spoken to another 8th gen owner who's running it with no issues and also my Honda dealership recccommended using aftermnarket parts as genuine is too expensive. I've also ordered a genuine slave cylinder from Japan as found it difficult to source any aftermarket slaves - Honda 46930-TL0-G02 - CYLINDER, CLUTCH (Amayama) - EUR 98. As for fitting, I'm not sure whether I'll do it myself or take it to a garage but once parts arrive I'll make the call. I'll keep you guys updated, hopefully this will fix my sticking clutch pedal :)

Slave cylinder is 2 bolts and a hardline, takes about 10 minutes and another 10 to bleed.

Yeah slave looks handy and im familiar with the bleeding process, its the master cylinder that seems do-able but awkward. Even trying to have a look at clutch pedal pin and stuff is hard, limited access.

Master cylinder? Depends entirely on whether or not do you fancy a 2 hour struggle laying upside down in the footwell in the current weather.

Top nut is an absolute pain to get to. Any advice to get to it? I’ve removed side trim panel and might look at removing air mixer for better access.
