Tilt Sensor to prevent catalytic converter theft, any recommendations?

In our London neighbourhood we are having a spate of catalytic converter thefts. Mostly from new hybrid cars it seems, but I thought to install something preventative on my 2005 Ctdi.
A few questions: Does the car have a tilt sensor? (!) If not, can anyone recommend one that I can buy and fit, or that can be fitted by my local auto electrician? Are the converters from old Hondas still valuable to thieves? Any other ideas on comments on this matter?
Thanks, Tim M

Depending how handy you are and how worried about a car that age, I would consider shaping and fixing some aluminium sheeting 2-3mm thick over the access area to the converter.
Connecting to the chassis using existing fixing points or drill and use self tappers.

Many thanks, I'll bear your suggestion in mind. Tim M
