Tow bar fitting mk7 saloon

Hi there, I’ve bought a used Witter tow bar for my mk7 accord saloon. Does anyone have fitting instructions, or experience, they can share with me before I attempt to fit it?

the rear frame rails on these are capped so unless it replaces the rear crash bar I'm pretty sure you'll have to snake some locking plates with studs through the big holes under the rails.
it'll be clear as day when you receive the kit anyhow

Thanks. Witter kindly supplied a written guide. I was hoping for a diagram. But now I’m thinking it might be an easier job than I’m anticipating, once I have the bumper off and can look at the situation. Thanks for your reply. TM

Thanks! I’m hoping for that ‘clear as day’ experience. I think the main bar of the tow bar does replace the rear crash bar. So that’s a starting point. Hopefully it’ll be clear once I get into it. Thanks for replying. TM.

I fitted a witter towbar to a vw passat years ago and it did go in place of the rear crash bar.
