Hi guys

Any guides on how to free up / clean turbo actuator and turbo vanes please?

Just had a trip down to Cornwall and the car has thrown a wobbly

Any guides appreciated.

For a quick temp fix you can try applying some engine oil with a brush to the actuator and with a long nose pliers ease the actuator up and down and keep doing it until you're happy it has a full free range of nice and smooth movement. If the rod refuses to move then don't be too forceful or you'll damage the vanes as it's likely too badly clogged inside as per the pics in our Facebook post.

Thanks for sharing by the way Matt

Do I need to remove DPF first before I can remove turbo? Patient is DTEC Accord.
