Hi
I have just replaced the manifold so had to take the turbo off to get at it.

Given that when I undid the oil lines to the turbo only a very small amount of oil escaped, is it really necessary to prime it with more oil??

Surely the turbo will not spin to fast at low revs and the oil system will be under pressure very quickly, so by the time the residual oil left in the turbo should be enough shouldn't it - Or am I wrong??

If I have to re-charge, the turbo is now back on and the oil pipes are seated and tightened so it will be a bit of a job the undo them. Where on the turbo do I re-charge??

Many thanks for any help.

Regards

run the starter without starting the engine a couple times, the dash might flash with "SYSTEM CHECK" but just ignore it
I didn't bother with anything else and everything's been a-okay
