    Thoughts on this accord?

Looks ok in photos, on last MOT it needs 4x new tyres and front lower ball joints. I guess £500 in total if you don't fit ditch finders, but should last a while. The previous MOT the tyres seemed to be also in a bad state, so either they still weren't replaced or the knackered suspension...

    Air Con

It looks like there is a pressure switch that can also fail https://www.amayama.com/en/part/honda/80450s7s003 You might be able to get some codes read from the car with a code reader and/or Honda HDS dealer diagnostics (Honda diagnostic system)

    8th gen / 2013 / Saloon / EX / small hole rear wheel arches

This is the easiest way https://typeaccord.co.uk/board/threads/accord-viii-service-manual-workshop-manual-esm-on-windows-11.26630/ 99% of it works fine following those instructions with the exception of some of the wiring diagrams - There is a link for a downloadable version somewhere but you...

    HELP Alarm issues

Possibly not specific to an accord but some good ideas here about testing the sensors etc https://hondafitjazz.com/manual3/en/html_en/000000000001680.html

    8th gen / 2013 / Saloon / EX / small hole rear wheel arches

Not sure if this helps - from the workshop manual (ESM) - my copy only goes up to 2010 but I doubt much has changed for the facelift This is under "Rear Inner Fender Replacement"

[Guide] Retrofitting the "Type S" metal pedal covers to an EX/ES spec car

Something that i've been wanting to do for a while is to fit the metal pedal covers that the Type S and GT cars got. In the UK our 2.4s were sold only with rubber pedal covers which look very "poverty spec"! Honda used to sell a "sports pedal cover" set but this has long since been discontinued...

    Rx8 Alloy Wheels

My car is a slightly different shade of silver, my wheels are a "gun metal" dark grey kind of colour (not sure exactly as they were painted by the previous owner), look so much better than silver OEM wheels that were on before!

    Throttle Pedal Sensitivity

I was hoping this might be something that could be tweaked in HDS - back in my days of messing around with VW/Audi cars there was a "throttle adaption" in VCDS that you could use to change the pedal parameters and make it more aggressive. Maybe @F6HAD has some insight into this topic. I can't...

You could try willtheyfit.com if you know the offset? You can compare the difference to the OEM accord wheel

    Heated Seat Drivers Side

Mine does take a bit of time to warm up - maybe not 10 minutes though. I use mine all the time as I have a dodgy back and it really helps sooth it on long drives. You could get a mutimeter on the connector and test the resistance and compare between driver/passenger seat to see if they're...

    Honda HDS help

I'm about 1.5 hours or so from you in Derbyshire so not that close but if you have an old laptop running Windows XP you can just use this one from Aliexpress with the software included on the CD (dated from 2011 but fine for my Mk8 and definitely fine for your Mk7)...

    tailgate seal

UK dealer prices can be a bit silly but if you order from Japan through someone like www.amayama.com you'll be surprised how affordable a lot of OEM parts are. For example I just ordered a battery terminal cover for £3 (obviously postage costs increase the prices but I've ordered a few bits at...

    Wheel Options Please!

FN2 wheels are a popular choice as they're really cheap and readily available. I have them on my Mk8. I'd rather OEM wheels than cheap aftermarket alloys as I reckon they'll be stronger for one thing. Money no object i'd love some enkeis etc but theyre so expensive! Really good website to...
