Trying to eliminate all leaks, it was apparent that my seal was flat as a witches *** and heaven knows what price a Honda replacement would be. Answer ? a van tailgate seal off Amazon,£44, job done.

UK dealer prices can be a bit silly but if you order from Japan through someone like www.amayama.com you'll be surprised how affordable a lot of OEM parts are. For example I just ordered a battery terminal cover for £3 (obviously postage costs increase the prices but I've ordered a few bits at the same time). Main disadvantage is waiting a few weeks.

Thanks BJ, the seal I fitted is excellent, but should the need arise, I will use that dealer to obtain any parts that may need changing.
