Only takes minutes to swap the bulbs back round come mot time

Prob never had been done, at 12 yrs old I'm guessing it's way past its best

So replacing the alternator belt could cure it?

It's does have the eps light on start up. What could be causing he squeel when turning even just slightly to the right? Always used to be just a low fluid level or stretched belt

Would it just be a new belt needed to stop the squeak with eps? Or looking at bigger problems?

I've got a squeak from my power steering and want to check the fluid level but where is the reservoir? On other cars it looks to be by the screen wash filler but I just have an empty space there on my 53 petrol accord.

All depends on the mot tester. Some will let them pass others won't. Easy enough to just change the bulbs back round come mot time anyway

Got night breakers and can't tell any difference between them and basic bulbs. HID is the only way to see a proper difference. Night breakers

Found the passenger side bulb was lifting out of one of the dimples at the bottom. It looked fine from above but I could just get a fingernail underneath it. A little bend in the securing clip and all sorted now!! before After

The flat is facing towards the Neg wire at about 1 o o'clock position on both sides. Had some old bulbs the wrong way round before lol

They are a lot brighter since polishing the head light. On a wider view they are like \______\_______

Turns out the smell is coming from the exhaust. Something in the backbox is getting a bit hot. Do the universal stainless steel boxes fit? I've seen a few cheap ones on eBay around 50/60 quid. I won't have the car for much more than a year so it doesn't need to last me years.
