    You'd be looking @£1500 for one from honda, probably more than the car is worth, then fitting if you are not able. Some on ebay for £400-500 I'd be going for, don't know if anyone on here has fitted cheaper dpfs? You can have it removed and it will still pass an mot apparently.

    What is a full regen? I thought you had to drive it hard for 50 miles (long time for example) to clear it out. Did it on the wifes nissan note a while back, recommended to take for a long hard drive every so often. Anyway I don't think regens last for long and it will soon be troublesome again...

    Don't know the answer but would suggest 2 holes would not have something fall out of them. They may be to let moisture out from between the inner panels to stop causing corrosion.

    Not sure about that, the brake fluid was pristine when bleeding. Some say the brake hose can turn into a one way system, keeping constant pressure on the caliper. Replacing it will settle the problem or not fingers crossed.

    I would suggest the guy at the desk is an idiot. My 2010 accord has none, my wifes nissan has none and neither does my daughters 22 plate hyundai. No mot station has ever mentioned them being necessary.

    The 2 end caps have little tabs to push in and then pull, they are on the underside of the rail. The middle one has inserts for a screw driver on the rear side.
