Simple question - Where is the sump plug on the 2.2 diesel?

Yes I know it's in the sump but I've not been under the car yet and want to know exactly where it is? Is it on the back edge of the sump that will allow me to put the front end of the car up on ramps to make the job easier but still ensure I get all the oil out?

Yep, ramps'll do it.

No need for stands - just crawl underneath like I do!
But why not make life easier while you can?

Also gives me the chance to have a good look at everything under there as well.

Job delayed by torrential rain !!! :(

My accord's too low to get a jack under the subframe.

To get it onto ramps, I drive it up onto two blocks of 9"x2" first.

Managed to find a long enough break in the rain to change the oil tonight and major finding is I need a bigger drain tray !! 5.9 litres is a LOT of oil especially when the previous owner has overfilled it !!!!

Found that out the hard way before.

Since overfilling my drain can, I now use a plastic bucket.
