ABS sensor length/gap

So I bought these front left/right ABS sensors from ebay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221498330215&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:GB:3160

However, I've come to replace them and the new sensors are a good few millimeters longer than the old ones.... they are touching the hub.

Have I been sent the wrong part, or do I need some kind of shim?

I would say they are the wrong part, but not sure...

i would say thats not a wrong part. It looks like that old one is slightly worn off. i suggest u to put it on and try it. after market parts are mostly suitable. give it a try

Hi Havoc,

I did try to put it on.. but the sensor is physically hitting the toothed ring in the hub so i cant screw it flush to the mount. whereas the old one didnt touch it. Surely that is not correct?

well then u are right its wrong part. I would get it from honda.... my opinion is i wont save money on something that could save my life in certain situations. no offense, just opinion
