Auto wiper fualt

The auto selection on the front window wipers doesnt work, you move it down 1 notch, the wipers activate once and thats it, no matter what position you put the rate wheel it doesnt activate the wipers again. Hope you can understand that. Could it be the sensor on the dash or on the window by the interior mirror ?

Disconnect the battery wait 5 mins then reconnect sometimes that resets them

I found out by tapping the sensor it works, i think the glue is becoming unstuck but cheers
