Is it possible to adjust the sensitivity of the automatic headlights?
The settings on the switch are OFF, Sidelights, AUTO, and Dipped. If it's nearly dusk and I have the sidelights on, and I switch it to AUTO, the sidelights go off.Auto headlights only do dipped don't they? I didn't think the sidelights came on at any time.
I thought this, but it doesn't do that. Try it by covering the sensor in the middle of the top of the dash. The lights come on, but they stay on for some time after you take your hand away.I don't bother using the auto light, as when ever you go under a bridge on the motorways it comes on and goes off straight after, people in front would think I'm flashing them.

If you've got to move the switch from sidelights to Auto, doesn't that sort of defeat the point of having automatic lights in the first place?
If you were in London, sunset this week is around 9.20pmEconomic said:At 8pm yesterday someone spoke to me in traffic saying that they couldn't see me because my lights were off. I don't turn on my lights until just before sunset or if I couldn't otherwise see the cars in front. I do notice that about 90% of other cars have their headlights on and that's probably down to sensitivity but am I leaving my lights off for too long?
