Can someone help me identify this part please?

Someone reversed into the front passenger side corner of my 7th Gen Accord. There is no major damage to the car apart from this plastic box that has broken in half. Im trying to find a new one online but Im not sure what to even look for. It the box looking thing in front of the wheel, right under the air filter's housing. I've attached a picture to help. Thank You Very Much

Looks like the air filter resonator box

Is it a diesel? If so make sure the intercooler isn't damaged

Its petrol. What is the purpose of the resonator box? Can the car still be driven a few miles to a garage without that box? Thanks

It helps modify the air induction to create a baffled sound and also the right flow of air into the airbox.

It's fine just don't go through any large puddles as engines don't like to suck in water through the intake

Deff the res box.
You can take it completely off for a mod and have better air flow.
It has 3 bolts holding it on and sits over the air box.
Also you will get a better induction noise as well

i done it to my diesel real sound now just put piping to with so it gets cold air
