Engine oil for 2006 tourer 2.2

Hi guys new to Honda and I do all the work on my cars myself been looking at oil and in agreement with the 0w-30 but all this B1 A5 C2 jargon. Can someone please help.

Hi and welcome.

The 08-on 8th generation diesels have particulate filters which need the low-ash C oil but yours doesn't so it's not an issue for your goodself.

So any good brand 0w-30 will do? No matter what A B C ratings they have?

Go to lubetec, for a discount, excellent stuff, used it for years, no problems They are at the bottom of the main page on here.

re the filter go here http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/?gclid=CNmxtbu4srsCFdLItAodcQUAbA Bosch with 442 on it. That is the fuel filter.

sorry got my filters mixed, have you got a filter housing near the alternator, if so it does screw off to reveal a paper element Just enter your reg in the mr auto web page and they will appear.

Only ever use Genuine Honda parts the ICTDI engine does not like aftermarket filters and throws up warning lights etc.

Genuine Honda part number for Fuel filter is 16901RJLE01
