I once managed 460 miles to a full tank of petrol, that was from north wales to surrey and back with no service stops.
Normal driving I worked out to be about 32mpg. Been on lpg for the last 2 years and I get about 28mpg.
It did drop significantly from May to August, which I put down to EGR system and idle valve, I got most of that sorted out and it didn't make much of a difference. Then I found out my rear brake was binding and after getting that fixed I'm back up to 28mpg.
I did go through a phase of being cautious with the air con to try and save fuel, but then had to pay £350 when I got a leak. So now I make a point of enjoying using my car and all it's toys and just try and be sensible with the throttle and brakes.
