Having had my ultra reliable 2009 model Accord 2.2 idtec EX since new it looks like I am going to have to spend some money on it.
The drivers side front interior light has failed :(

Can anybody tell me how to replace the bulb. I presume you prize off the plastic lense cover from the roof lining. How can you do this without causing any damage to the lining?

Hi Bob,
Its all explained in the handbook. Just get a small flat blade screw driver a clean cloth, cover the end and gently prise it out. Its just the clear lens that comes out not the whole housing from the roof.

Are you talking about the 2 map lights by the rear view mirror or the central light in the middle of the roof?

Cheers

Rich

Yep the plastic lens prises out of the housing, use a screwdriver covered with a cloth.

Can you throw in LED bulbs when replacing the interior lights or is there a specific conversion you have to do?

Apologies if this seems like a silly question but I am clueless with all these things!
