Anyone know the process for testing an APP sensor?

My accord seems to have become much more jerky and on/off throttle is harsher.
Under acceleration it almost hesitates or stutters sometimes.

Makes it horrible to drive

Any input welcome!

Not on petrols generally, what's the mileage service history etc?
03 with 110k miles.
Does 100miles a day m1/m25 commute so all easy miles.
Self serviced, only ever needed consumables and oil. All done to schedule.

I've seen them fail on a few k24 cars now

The petrol and diesel actually share the same part

I think on a bulletin from Honda they recommend checking the wiring as well. Not that I've found any wiring issues for app sensors yet

I can't think what else it would be.

Almost replicates a worn engine mount feeling with a harsh on/off transition.
And as said the slight hesitation under acceleration.

I know the DBW induces some lag and delay but I've had the car the last 60k miles and this is a recent development.

Any idea on testing the sensor?
Or is it simply cough up and replace with crossed fingers?
