Yes any pump has to be calibrated in my experience but you might get lucky

I think I'd be better off sending the pump I received back and not mess about with it and get my money back. As for my one I can either send it away to get it fixed or look for another one.
I've seen this place http://www.ecutesting.com/catalogue/product/honda_accord_abs_pump__ecumodule_combined_amc204074.html but I can only see they do for the diesel.
Anyone know where I could send my pump to be reconditioned?
The fault I got was 'faliure of make safe relay' or something like that.

What was the actual error code number you had? Even a refurb may need a calibration

I cant remember, I think it was '54-01 Fail-safe Relay Failure'

I've seen in a audi forum some guy who had a similar problem and opened his sealed unit to find the solder had melted on a relay and all he did was use some conductive silver epoxy to fix the problem.
Has anyone here opened one of these modules?

Hi again. Eventually after chasing a certain company for most of the summer I eventually fitted a reconditioned pump. When I fitted it the lights were out but when I bled the brakes manually the lights came back on again.
I took it to a garage which have a diagnostic reader to get my brakes properly bled and apparently now I have 2 fault codes now... One is for Pressure sensor fault and the other is ABS motor fault. Could this be because there is air in the pump valves?
