Poor Performance from Rear speakers

After installed a after market CD Player (4X 40W non big brand) the rear speakers (JBL speakers) sound pretty bad, poor bass and sound distorted having the volume up.

I am just wondering could this problem due to the bad speaker wires or,

the CD player just not powerful enough to support the rear speakers that is sitting too far away?

Sounds like you've maybe wired it wrong.
Did you a harness?

yeah mate i bought the adaptor from Halford and i haven't mess with any of the wires at all...:-(

:blush: omg, it is the wires thats in wrong place, just swop them around, and presto, now i can have a party inside my car..sweet.....wat a silly mistakes....well i did followed the instruction though...

It's an easy mistake tO make dude. Lost track of the times my mates have come over as their newly installed ice isn't working correctly. And it's usually because of this.

Glad they're ok now dude.
