screenwash

I searched the forum but haven't found any topics about screenwash ( just one about wipers ).
What screenwash do you use and how good is it?

U'll cringe, I use Asda's own and it does a fantastic job. All the paint is still attached to the car after 6 months of owning it. lol

Well a few peeps use the shell premixed stuff and its really is good stuff and never freezes.

However I find the trick to ensuring your screen washer does not freeze is the prep. Dont just stick some down the pipe and fill up with the hose

Read the recommended ratios for the temp it can drop to in your area, them mix up 5l at a time making sure its mixed really well. Last year I used halfords own and will do again this year. I tend to have 5l mixed ready all the time in the winter in case Im running low as there is no way I want to be mixing it all up on a cold work night B)

I wonder about the Shell Concentrate - how much does it cost and for how many litres of screenwash does it last?

I find the Carplan stuff works well.. but to me screenwash is screenwash. Just like Shampoo - as long as it cleans, I don't care how silky it leaves my hair B)

You should buy concentrated stuff really otherwise you are paying for water.
