Accord 2.0 ex manual
Hi,
I've got a 2010 2.0 petrol manual EX saloon, 25k miles.
Do the Honda spark plugs come with the gap preset?
Either way, I always used to check the gap but I've driving diesel for some years now so a bit out of touch.
I've looked everywhere and cannot find a reference to the gap so any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Ampers.

Should all be preset fella

I've never had to adjust gap. They are preset from when you buy them providing you select the correct plug

Interested in this as I have a 2.0 petrol also. Plugs are due at 75k miles or 6 years I think. My car is on 71k miles, so I'll have to do mine soon.

Think they are iridium so not cheap, maybe £15 each!

I'd only ever use Honda plugs.

Call Holdcroft they are very helpful and will tell you, but most plugs these days are preset, just fit and forget.

Also my car is on 71k miles on the original plugs, they aren't due until 75k miles, so dont waste your money changing them.

I had mine done at around 75K. Car felt loads better afterwards. Perhaps a placebo ;) , but still worth getting done at the correct year/mileage service interval. They normally sort the tappets I think at the same time.
