Well, it was too good to be true. The problem returned and has been diagnosed by my local garage as a sticking caliper. The car doesn't do many long runs but when it did, the brake binding returned. So a new caliper, pads and fluid will be fitted tomorrow and hopefully, the end of the issue..... and on the plus side, at least I've had a go and got my hands dirty on the new car!
