While browsing the parts catalog, I stumbled across something that I haven't seen get mentioned here. Namely, a strainer for the oil pump, located on the side of the gearbox, towards the bottom (21180-PR8-016).
Since I'm planning on changing the MTF anyway, I figured I'll take it out, give it a hose-down and put it back in, along with a new o-ring. This strainer is only present in the diesel gearbox, as it has an oil pump.
Also since I don't feel like paying 5£ for an o-ring from Honda (91307-PR8-005; 29.7X2.4 in size), I'll get a 25X3 o-ring for 0.1£ instead and just stretch-fit it.
Thoughts?
