Torque settings

Does anyone know the torque settings for front axle nut on 7th gen accord please? Also just checking the wheels are 108nm.

depends on whether it's an automatic or manual transmission believe it or not as they are different part numbers for the driveshafts, anyway manual =245Nm ( 181 lbf.ft.) and Automatic = 181 Nm ( 134 lb.ft.) also yes the wheel nuts are 108 Nm (80 lbf.ft )

You don't need to take the axle nut off to remove the lower control arm though.

I tried to use my homemade tool whilst still on the car. Getting it to a position where I could use a press was no problem but as you said they are welded in I couldn't budge them. So wasted my time really. I gave up and put it all back together, wasted afternoon.
