Wondering if they share the same brake pads?

Yes mate, I believe just the front caliper carries are different to accomodate for the larger disc and of course the discs are 300mm on the CL9 vs the 280mm on some CL7's

Thanks mate! im trying to find some discs and pads to go with my spoons, but ive jsut discovered there isnt much of a choice in the uk. Do you knwo if any other hondas share the same pad size?

ummm no idea Dan.. I know the Civic's are different and the 6th gen wears a different pad.

What is it you're trying to do?

I originally wanted some Ferodo DS2500, but they dont seem to make it for the CL9.

Discs wise i might go EBC ultimax. and maybe some yellow stuff (temp.)if i cant find what im looking for.

I have looked at those aswell. I was also looking at some endless pads aswell. but watned something slightly cheaper and easier to source.

I have contacted a certain brake company to see if they are willing to produce some discs and pads for me. They are highly reputable. so il wait and see what reply they can give me and if it goes well i will test them out and us cl9 owners will have abit more choice
