Checked my glow plugs and ive got 2 not working , ive had a quick look on Ebay and there about £32 each for Bosch  , is this the going rate or is there anywhere cheaper to buy them.

Thanks

Give HH a call and see what price they give you.

I would presume that's the going rate, try HH and see what they can do for you.

GSF singles are cheaper, not sure if they're bosch though. But never had problem with GSF except when I got a waterpump from them for a VW fitted it. turns out it was manufactured wrong and shredded the cambelt and bent the valves- ouch

If you have a local GSF ask them for a price, are you a taxi? think they give 10% discount.

Otherwise just make sure they fit your model/year before ordering.

Actually I would only use genuine Honda plugs. I remember a few members having issues with aftermarket plugs, and also do them in a set of 4.

Really in sets of 4? would you change 4 injectors too?

Agree though Honda will be better, I can't vouch for pattern parts but I would take a punt if changing myself

Injectors are £250+Vat each, Glow plugs are a tenth of the price.

If one is cracked, it's likely the others are on their way out too as they have a limited lifespan. You can check injectors for efficiency and measure the injection duration and identify any problems down to a milligram.

If the budget permitted, yes I would actually change injectors in a set too.

Guys I would class glow plugs like spark plugs.
As Fahad said they have a life span of around 80 to 100k
So it would always be good practise to change them all at this mileage.
You will then be getting even heat from all glow plugs.
The only time I would change the odd one if there was a fault with one with low mileage on

If anyones interested these seem pretty cheap http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/glow-plugs £18.60 each for Bosch
