IMRC / EGR Valve

Hmm try it but seems egr might not be your issue pal.. Did Honda confirm your turbo was ok? Why did they say your egr was faulty?
 
I need to ring them as I asked them to put on HDS, but seems to me they just read the error codes and then said more investigation needed.

I didn't drop off or collect the car, the wife did, but seems like I paid them to tell me the codes I already knew!

If the turbo was faulty would I get the codes I'm getting now??
 
What they need to do is to run some engine functional tests on the egr, turbo, injectors, pump etc
 
It's hardly something like gunk build up in the injectors, etc?? Do you guys ever put any fuel cleaner it?
 
Finally giving up on my wife's accord! Never got to the root of the problem so will be selling, does anyone know what I can expect to get for it ? It's 54 2.2 diesel exec, no power (poss turbo fail) done 240k - all other mechanics are fine, sat nav and aircon doesn't work .

Would I be better breaking it - would I get more?

Any help appreciated!
 
Carl I can't remember but did you ever try blanking it? Any difference at all?
 
Yes mate - blanked, changed EGR, FSV etc etc no joy. She's had a good innings tho! No power and heavy sooting make it undriveable now!
 
Most likely turbo in that case.
