Yeah I just don't want to spend money on a genuine disc to find out that the DVD drive is actually the problem, or vice versa.

Hi I just bought a pre-facelift Accord (no HFT) and am having the same problem, I get the error message 'DVD Disc is reading an error' when I insert the sat nav disc (Copied). Is that the same message you are getting? I don't suppose anyone would be kind enough to send me a known working disc...

Just took it all apart and tried cleaning the lens with a cotton bud and alcohol but no luck, still the same 'DVD Disc is reading an error' message. So it's either the discs or the drive is gone. I don't suppose anyone has a known working disc I could try if anyone is kind enough, could save...

Hi I've just bought my first 54 plate Accord Exec, first post on here also. One problem is the sat nav screen is telling me a disc needs to be installed and the digital clock has an incorrect time, I believe this can't be changed without the disc installed as almost any button I press around...
