Get the fuel filter changed. They are a PITA and easy to 'overlook' on a service.

My 2012 idtec auto saloon - located under fuel tank, though dealer did insist it would be on the bulkhead. Didn't require priming.

If anyone has this problem in future - both front door actuators needed replacing, over £400 each from dealer so get them from a breakers or repair unit yourself.
