New Honda Accord has a very hard ride

I wouldn't say that going from 16's to 17's made much difference to the ride in my Accord. The only downside was a bit more road noise. If you don't like your sports suspension I'll bring my car to you and your mechanic can swap mine with yours if you want :)

    Getting itchy feet

Well I test drove a 2.0 tdi 140bhp A4 Avant today and was underwhelmed. After being used to a revvy engine in the accord I didn't like the lack of power after 3,500 RPM. Drove the Accord 40 miles to see the car and 40 miles back, the accord was comfortable and only slightly more road noise. I...

    Should i buy a 150k+ 8 Gen Diesel

High mileage isn't too much of an issue as long as its been well serviced (sounds questionable on this one) But you can't expect a car with 150k on it to be 100% reliable so if money is tight could you afford a clutch and DMF when it goes? Saying that things go wrong on lower mileage cars too...

    Getting itchy feet

I've had 2 a6's in the past and an a4 all of which have been great. Just concerned with dpfs and my low mileage so would either get it mapped out or go for a 1.8t

I'm guessing your a4 was the older model? The newer cr engines are more refined

    Getting itchy feet

For some reason the interiors on the merc or Beemers don't excite me. Comfort is my key requirement, round the corners doesn't matter too much since I mainly have the kids in the back. I'm only look at a 2.0 tdi so not exactly upping things in the performance stakes. Saying that I have...

    Getting itchy feet

So I've had the accord a year (a long time for me) it's got lowish mileage, all the toys I need, I own it outright and it has been perfectly reliable....but I've always loved audi's. I have no good reason to swap it but I've been looking at new shape a4's. My sensible head says keep the accord...

    MOT Pass

Its unusual for me to keep a car long enough to MOT it but it was done yesterday and flew through. 2 advisories but they were on tyres so happy days. Now will I keep it long enough to MOT it again...

OEM air filter or K&N panel?

I've got one on my 2.0 petrol.....and it didn't make an ounce of difference.

Just thinking about buying a 2006 Honda Accord 2.2 EX

Stick the reg in to we buy any car with the mileage and see what figure that comes up with. I'm guessing it will be £3500 - £4000. So if its from a Honda dealer with FHSH and a years Honda warranty I don't think £5000ish is too bad. (They have to make some money)

Did you buy a cable to convert the phono or do you plan to make your own? I just bought this one for £12.99 http://www.civinfo.com/forum/civinfo-traders/51028-video-cables-reversing-camera-etc-63.html

Are you talking about the connector that goes into the back of the DVD drive or where to feed the power for the camera from?
