ADAS fault on 57 2.4 exec

Thanks and well done Alan S. I checked the tyre pressures at the weekend (I normally cycle to work) and the front left was at 26 psi. I blew them up to 33 / 39 (I was towing caravan) and the fault has not returned in the last 180 miles. Problem solved. That's saved me a whole lot of money.

ADAS fault on 57 2.4 exec

After some guidance on a 42k mile 57 2.4i exec ADAS. There is a problem with the ADAS where after approx 20 minutes driving the dash displays an ADAS fault and says "check system". The problem has been present about 1 week. This fault appears to come on independent of whether the Main cruise...

    2.4 06 Tourer - Help please!

My 57 2.4 EX tourer has drained itself 3 times. 1) Boot left open when Indespension fitted tow bar Feb. 2) Boot left opening while loading caravan July (not a slow caravanner- you will have problems overtaking me up to 80.). 3) Last week- returned home after 2 weeks away working. I had to jump...

    2.4 auto vs manual

Previous car was an 01 Accord 2.0 Coupe manual. New car (57) is a 2.4 Auto estate with ADAS. New car gives better fuel consumption than the coupe (27mpg in town, 32 with the cruise set at 80 (36/38 set at 70)). Range seems to be much more, old Accord £70 tank, 300 -320 miles, new one 390-410...

    Automatic costs

I have just bought a 57 2.4 Auto Accord Tourer with ADAS. Running to and from work gives me 26 mpg. Cruising on motorway at 70 mph gave me 35.8 (over 200 miles) at the weekend. Cruising at 80 gives me about 30mpg. This is all per the computer- I have not checked it's accuracy. My old Accord...

    Transporting Push Bikes.

OK, I understand that. I did try searching for downloading pictures but that *pictures-lack* was not kicked out in the results. My link My link My link does this work?

    Transporting Push Bikes.

Yes but that links to a URL, Not to a c:/ my pictures directory on my hard drive. That means I need to upload it to photobucket/ picassa and then create a link to it.

    Transporting Push Bikes.

I use a Thule 9502 towbar mounted rack on my old Coupe. Absolutely solid. Thule make a lock for the tow bar ball and you can lock the bikes to the rack or the car subframe. The tow bar is being put on my new Tourer this Friday, then I'll have to ***ess whether I can still get the boot open. The...

    OE HID Headlight Aim

I just spoke to the Honda Franchise. They say that they never have problems with aim on the Accord. The height adjuster is supposed to respond to weight in the car (or a caravan) but is not supposed to keep the lights level when going over undulating ground. They say that the lights are just...

    OE HID Headlight Aim

Thanks for the information. This dealer is a VW one but they have Hondas within their franchise, I may have a chat with one of them.

    OE HID Headlight Aim

Supplying dealer is a MOT station. They checked it usung all the right gear. It just seems stupid that they appear to be set legally and are still causing objection.

    OE HID Headlight Aim

Hi Guys, New to the Type 7. Just bought a MY57 2.4 Tourer with ADAS etc. Excellent. b4 that I had a 1996 2.0es and also a 2000 2.0 Coupe. I do like my Accords! I have a problem with the OE HIDs. Actually not my problem, everybody else's! Low Beam HID Lights are aimed almost level, when you...
